LA CHOZA CHULA 

While travelling through Central America, I gained unique insights into the work of several NGO's such as "La Choza Chula" in El Paredón, Guatemala. Their mission is to create locally-driven projects to ensure the educational and environmental development of El Paredón and neighbouring communities, promoting positive impact from tourism on the local community, and improving human and environmental well-being. Their local tours and products ensure that the local community benefits from the growing tourism in the area as well as providing support for their projects (cooking classes, homestays, mangrove tours, sewing bags/clothes,..)

I was taking part in a cooking class held by locals, and then decided to learn more about their projects and contribute some photos.
